HolA!! EsTe Post es para disculparnos por el Retraso al Publicar El Primer PodcasT de Applesound, tuvimos varios problemas tecnicos con la compu q usamos pero esperamos Tenerlo Listo durante EstA semana, asi q no se impacienten...

La diva del Poster Art "Tara Mcpherson"

Hace un tiempo vagando por el mundo cibernético me encontré con la Diva Tara Mcpherson una increíble dibujante y diseñadora de Posters para conciertos o como se dice en Ingles Gigs de asombrosos artistas, tales como Green Day, King of Leon, Beck, Queen of The Stone Age, Duran Duran, Shonen Knife, Razorlight, Depech Mode, The Rapture, Le tigre, Peaches, Death Cab for Cutie, Interpol y muchos mas.

Pero a pesar de que se dio a conocer por su arte en los poster la artista también ha hecho trabajos para algunos comics de DC Vertigo y portadas para revistas como The Time Magazine, New york Post, etc... Pero su trabajo no solo se termina con su arte al dibujar, ya que siendo uno de sus hobbies coleccionar figurillas ha incursionado en la escultura creando lindos y graciosos personajes que han sido bien recibidos en Japón por la revista del genero Pop, Kidrobot.

La artista, nació en San Francisco en el año de 1976, criada en la ciudad de Los Ángeles. Luego se mudo a la ciudad de New York donde se estableció como artista independiente, su arte se basa en las rarezas de las personas y sus recuerdos de la infancia al igual q los recuerdos de las buenas experiencias de su vida. Los personajes q crea siempre mantienen un carácter inocente pero con una mirada de sabiduría adquirida, explotando lo provocativo de las relaciones de pareja el cual es el tema principal de su trabajo.

La artista actualmente ha creado su propio estudio en la ciudad de New York, llamado S2DIO Guillotine el cual es un proyecto comenzado por medio de un blog la dirección es clickenGuillotine acá nos muestra su nuevo lugar de trabajo al igual q varias fotos de ella junto a sus posters y figurillas favoritas. Bueno, los animó a conocer mas de esta increíble artista la cual simplemente me ha fascinado.

Dolores Mary Eileen O’Riordan la que Fue líder del grupo irlandés The Cranberries. ahora Saco su nuevo album solitario

La cantante irlandesa parece haber dado por terminado su álbum de debut y ya ha encontrado la discográfica que lo puso en las tiendas. el grupo Sanctuary, a través de su sello Sequel, puso en circulación este trabajo el 7 de mayo. Inmediatamente después, Dolores O’Riordan emprendio una gira mundial para presentar sus nuevas canciones. En una entrevista la vocalista dijo que no habia trabajado con la banda en esta ocación porque "Es completamente diferente a The Cranberries. No había escrito algo tan oscuro y personal como esto con los chicos", ha dicho la cantante sobre su propio álbum en declaraciones a la revista "Hot Press".

En cualquier caso, excelentes noticias para los fans de The Cranberries, grupo del que no se tienen noticias en forma de nuevo disco desde Wake up and smell the coffee (2001). El silencio de la banda parece que aún se prolongará algún tiempo más, pero al menos su cantante y líder carismática vuelve a dar señales de vida.
